GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or PC system requirements. This calculator gives a rough FPS estimate for a future PC version, so you can plan an upgrade without guessing. Pick your graphics card, resolution and preset below.
GTA 6 PC FPS estimator
Estimate only · no PC version yetScores are PassMark G3D averages. Not listed? Choose “My GPU is not listed” and type its score from videocardbenchmark.net.
There is no public GTA 6 CPU data yet, so the CPU does not change the number. It only adds a warning.
How this estimate is calculated
1. We take your GPU’s PassMark G3D score and compare it with a reference card (GeForce RTX 4070).
2. We assume the reference card runs GTA 6 at about FPS at 1080p on High. This is an assumption, not a measurement. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or any PC requirements.
3. We scale the result for resolution using pixel count (1440p has 1.78x and 4K has 4x the pixels of 1080p). Performance does not fall in a perfect line, so we use the pixel ratio to the power of -0.8.
4. We scale for the preset: Low x1.45, Medium x1.2, High x1.0, Ultra x0.8. These are typical-looking steps, not GTA 6 data.
5. The range shown is the estimate plus or minus 25 percent, because the real game can land anywhere near it.
Formula: FPS = reference FPS x (your score / reference score) x resolution factor x preset factor
Real results depend on drivers, game patches, CPU, RAM and the final PC port. We will replace the assumption with real benchmarks when they exist.
How this estimate works
We compare your graphics card’s PassMark G3D score with a reference card (GeForce RTX 4070). We then scale the result for resolution and graphics preset. The reference point is an assumption, not a measurement, because no GTA 6 PC benchmarks exist. We will replace it with real data when the PC version is released and tested. Read the full steps in “How this estimate is calculated” inside the calculator.
GTA 6 PC requirements: what is official?
Nothing yet. As of November 5, 2026, Rockstar has confirmed the console launch date only, and no PC date or PC requirements have been announced. Any requirement table you see online is a community prediction. For example, Acer’s PC readiness guide and DarkFlash’s prediction article both state that PC specs are not official. We will update this section when Rockstar publishes them.
Where our hardware scores come from
GPU scores are PassMark G3D averages from videocardbenchmark.net. Scores change over time as more results are added. The values in this calculator were checked between October 2024 and April 2025 and are being re-checked before each update
FAQ
- Is GTA 6 coming to PC? Rockstar has not announced it. Reports point to a later date, but nothing is confirmed.
- How accurate is this calculator? It is a rough estimate with a plus or minus 25% range. Real FPS depends on the final PC port, drivers and your full system.
- Will my GPU run GTA 6 on PC? We cannot say for sure until the PC version exists. Use the estimate as a planning tool, not a guarantee.
- Should I upgrade my PC now? We suggest waiting for official PC requirements before spending money.
- Why does the CPU not change the result? There is no public GTA 6 CPU data yet. We show a warning for older CPUs only.
